Matt made a blog today. I get to write in it first.

We got engaged the Tuesday before Christmas, on December 18th.

We’re going to Asheville this weekend to see if having the wedding at our 1st choice location is actually realistic. My mom is sad because she wants to come, but we have to go this journey alone…it could be a treacherous undertaking…(Matt is teaching me how to make my part of our blog sound tough).

I just karate kicked a picture off my wall. :o (

I’m also subjecting Matt to Weddingcon II, Asheville Reign. So send your prayers in early on Saturday morning, he’ll need them. My roommate and I went to Weddingcon 10,000 in Nashville…we saw only a handful of dudes, and they all looked miserable.

yes i am sad :o ( pout pout But i get to see you both this weekend so it won’t be all bad. Matt, you have my most sincere sympathy for what you will be going through. i think only Charles could sympathize more but he has no experience there…maybe he should be the one going.. ha ha
