Yep, it’s true. Only 25 days left. Unless you talk with my Aunt Susan. She has her own special method of counting days that brings it to, oh, lets see…22 days
).
We’re getting there…for reals. Ceremony music is sent. I have to make up my mind (quit being wishy washy) about flowers by next Tuesday! She orders the flowers on Wednesday
) I pick up my dress from alterations next Wednesday. We have our wedding bands. Everyone has been fitted for tuxes. Matt and I have selected the menu for the reception & the wines as well.
It is all coming together. It’s super exciting.
In other news, Stormy is TWO. Her birthday was yesterday (Sept. 22). We took her to the dog park, bought her a giant bone, bought her some cookies, and a greenie. She had a great time, we had a great time.
Matt and I are so excited to see our families in 3 weeks…soon to be family.

Hey everyone!
I have been going to meetings with florists over the last 3 weeks. Flowers are stupid expensive. It’s hard to find someone who isn’t going to charge you an arm and a leg for something you could easily do yourself (despite the cries of those who say that it’s too stressful on your wedding day). I have one more meeting tonight, and then it’s decision time. Matt has already made his decision. He liked the girl we met with last Friday because she wore a green outfit. Yep, and green is the color of plants, which shows that she dresses the job, therefore she is extremely passionate about it and we will be very happy with her performance and dedication.
….Matt is not coming the the florist meeting tonight.

I am so excited about being married to Matt. We spent the 3 day weekend together watching movies and grilling out. It was the laziest 3 days that we’ve had in a long time. I’m looking forward to the days, though, when I don’t have to leave at 9pm to drive home, and I don’t have to get up at 8am to drive to Matt’s.
It’s nice to be able to say we’re getting married next month.
